The Los Angeles Clippers are one of two basketball teams in the NBA to play within the city of Los Angeles. They were founded in 1970 as the Buffalo Braves, moved to San Diego in 1978 and finally landed in Los Angeles in 1984. Although they've been around for a long time, the team has only had six winning seasons in it's history. They share a home arena of the Staples Center with the LA Lakers.
